The Women’s Fiandre Medium Cycling Jacket uses GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ to the front and NoRain fabric to the back. Facing into the weather, INFINIUM™ is completely windproof to lock in warmth and prevent windchill. Meanwhile, NoRain fabric on the back lets perspiration vapour escape to ensure greater comfort when you’re pushing hard on the pedals. And in damp weather, the water-resistant finish maintains comfort in light rain and drizzle. 

The slim fit keeps you streamlined and wasted energy to a minimum, saving it for the long winter training miles. Speaking of energy, the rear pockets provide space for energy bars and gels, and somewhere to stash a hardshell rain jacket for heavier periods of rain. A double collar provides a more comfortable and snug fit, keeping the elements out. 

Sportful temperature guide – a new way

Sportful now split the temperature range of their garments into two zones. Each zone signifies a different range depending on whether you’re riding at a slower, steadier pace or more intense, faster pace.

This means, for example, a jacket may be rated down to 0 degrees C if your cycling effort is at a harder and more intense pace where body heat is quickly built-up. However, the same jacket will be better suited to slightly warmer temperatures, say 5 degrees C, when your efforts are slower and steadier where you’re simply not generating as much body heat.
