Not only that, a dirt, water and stain-resistant fabric coating will see mud and water bead on the surface rather than soak in. And if you do get too warm, the rear zipper-adjustable vents let you dump heat quickly and easily.

The MTB 5.0s are also nicely flexible, giving you easy manoeuvrability as you react to slippery terrain. Pre-curved knees, complete with brush-guard reinforcement, are tailored for comfortable pedalling, with or without pads. A seamless three-layer laminated seat panel is both durable and comfortable while fewer seams, albeit all reinforced, prevents irritation in key areas. Two cargo pockets, a telephone pocket and a key loop prove cargo is no problem for the 5.0 short either.
