Tough, Protective and Airy

Giro’s In-Mould technology ensures the Fixture II MTB Helmet (MIPS) is high on durability while low in weight and gives you plenty of ventilation.

The tough polycarbonate outer shell fends off the inevitable bumps and scratches from the overhanging branches and bushes that line MTB trails. Meanwhile, a shock-absorbing foam core provides protection when you bash your head in a crash.

With a total of 16 air vents, the Fixture offers ample airflow for a cool and comfortable ride too. The Snap Fit 2 visor also keeps your eyes protected from both sun and rain and shrugs off low-hanging branches.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)

The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.

Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.

Roc Loc Sport Fit System

Integrated with the Mips® technology is Giro’s Roc Loc Sport Fit System. A simple twist of the rear dial allows you to customise the fit so it’s comfortable and secure. After all, a secure cycle helmet is a safer cycle helmet.
