Running Metrics

The Pod measures 6 different running metrics so that you get the best overall view of your progression. The metrics included are:

• Cadence – the number of steps you take per minute.
• Ground contact time balance – Shows the balance between your right and left foot ground contact time.
• Stride length – the length of your stride from one footfall to the next.
• Vertical oscillation – your bounce while running which shows the vertical motion of your torso.
• Vertical ratio – the ratio of vertical oscillation to stride length.
• Ground contact time – the time in each step that your foot spends on the ground.

Connectivity

Once you’ve finished running for the day you can automatically sync your running data to multiple different apps via your smartphone. This will allow you to track your progress over days, weeks, months and years.
